These images from the ‘Archives de l’Isère’ site were taken between the end of 2018 and the beginning of 2020. Some of these images were captured in the Photographic Chamber. This technical choice involves a more rigorous, slower, more economical process of images … for an architectural photograph in search of the atmosphere of the place, space and material.

We are April 2020, time has frozen in a form of motionless, agonizing beauty … I produced this document to thank all those who welcome me on these sites for a report, often ask me why these photos and most of them never see my work.

The Isère departmental archives project (ADI) is made up of 3 strata: a base, a groundwater table, and the storage volume. These volumes become the raw and mineral expression of the territory of Isère. The building is crossed by an interior street, and thus has two entrances.

A skin of gray ocher concrete, marked with a horizontal texture, resembles the tectonic marks of the limestone massifs which surround the Grenoble plain. A row of V-type concrete pile piles with variable conical sections from 60×80 to 60×110 cm made of high performance concrete, sitting on one of the two longitudinal seismic stabilization sails.
