The Galerie Schlassgoart was founded in 1993 on the initiative of the ARBED Group, which has since become ArcelorMittal. It is constituted as a non-profit association. Since the beginning of its activity, it has shown more than 90 individual and collective exhibitions, in which around 200 contemporary artists have participated.
The Galerie Schlassgoart's mission is to promote contemporary art in all its forms and to be a space for socio-cultural encounters and exchanges open to art lovers and the general public. Through its exhibitions, the Galerie Schlassgoart is proud to contribute to the diversity of the cultural offer of the City of Esch-sur-Alzette.
